From September 15th to 17th, the “First Minjiang International Pharmacy Forum” hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Chemical and Chemical Molecular Engineering of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education was held in the multi-purpose lecture hall of the key laboratory. The invited representatives of the forum included more than 20 well-known experts, scholars and pharmaceutical experts from the domestic and international pharmaceutical fields such as the United States, Japan, Pakistan, South Korea and Thailand. Professor Liang Hong, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology and director of the State Key Laboratory, served as the chairman of the forum. Professor He Zubin and Vice President Su Guifa attended the forum. More than 150 people from the State Key Laboratory, School of Chemistry and Pharmacy, relevant professional teachers and graduate students attended the forum.

President He Zubin gave a welcome speech on behalf of the school at the opening ceremony of the forum. He introduced the development history, teaching and scientific research of the university to the guests. He warmly welcomed the experts from all over the world and expressed warm congratulations on the holding of the forum. Professor Liang Hong, Chairman of the General Assembly, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering of Pharmaceutical Resources and Pharmaceutical Engineering and on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture. He introduced the development history of key laboratories and the current situation of the Minjiang International Pharmaceutical Forum and presided over the report of the forum.

The theme of this forum is “Development and Utilization of Natural Medicinal Resources and Creation of New Drugs” and “One Belt, One Road” National Pharmaceutical Research Exchange and Cooperation. The forum is mainly in the form of academic reports and POSTER exhibitions, report type sub-conference reports, theme reports, and inviting the report, in accordance with international practice. The forum uses English as the language of reporting and communication. After a three-day session, a total of 25 scholars gave academic reports. The report focused on the frontiers and hot issues of today's pharmaceutical research, covering natural medicines, drug synthesis, pharmacology, drug analysis, and research and development of new drugs. The latest research results in the world today, looking forward to the future direction of development. The report has a high level of positive interaction and an active atmosphere. The participants have achieved great results and successfully achieved the expected goal of promoting academic exchanges, increasing cooperation opportunities, and deepening international friendship among the pharmacy peers in the “Belt and Road” countries.

This year's Minjiang International Pharmacy Forum is the national key laboratory of our school. In order to implement the strategy of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region to strengthen the innovation-driven development strategy of our district and respond to the Guangxi Science and Technology Department, the international innovation cooperation circle of the Chinese medicine big health industry under the background of “One Belt, One Road” Under the background of the initiative, it will play an important role in improving the level of pharmaceutical research in our school, promoting international education, improving the level of international cooperation, and improving the local social and economic capabilities.
