Recently, it was hosted by the Guangxi Human Resources and Social Security Department and hosted by the School of Chemistry and Pharmacy of our university. In 2014, the Guangxi Pharmacy Postdoctoral Academic Forum was held in the Key Laboratory of Medicinal Resources Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of the University. Zhao Guoan and Pang Nan, heads of relevant departments of Guangxi People's Social Welfare Department, Li Chuanqi, Vice President of our school, postdoctoral and doctoral representatives of many universities and research institutes in Guangxi, representatives of some enterprises, heads of school personnel, and principals of the School of Chemical Pharmacy and more than 150 teachers in related disciplines, as well as doctoral and postgraduate students participated in the forum.

The forum focused on the status quo and prospects of new drug research. The delegates discussed important topics in the field of pharmacy such as research and innovation in ethnic medicine, drug design and drug discovery, and demonstrated new ideas, new discoveries and new achievements in pharmaceutical research. Researcher Hao Haojiang, a special expert of the forum and former director of the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a report entitled "Research Strategy of Natural Lead Compounds". He has combed the ideas and methods of new drug research from decades of pharmaceutical research work. It is refreshing. 9 representatives from our school, Guangxi Medical University, Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangxi Medicinal Botanical Garden, Guilin Sanjin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yinzhou Zhongheng Group Co., Ltd., Guilin Rhine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The academic report shared the latest research results of my own research group. The report covers the relationship between animal drugs, active ingredient groups of Chinese medicines and target groups, and research and development of new drugs. The atmosphere at the venue was very lively and packed.

The post-doctoral academic forum of pharmacy has a clear theme and rich content. The participants will further develop Guangxi pharmacy research, improve the level of drug research and development, cultivate high-level pharmaceutical science and technology talents, and promote the development of pharmaceutical industry in our district by sharing research results, exchanging experiences, and providing new ideas.
