The 2nd International Forum on Medicinal Chemistry of
Natural Active Ligand Metal-Based Drugs
-From Chemotherapy to Chemoimmunotherapy
August 26—27,2022, Join via Zoom Webinar

THIS COURSE AIMS TO DISSEMINATE THE CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH ABOUT METALLODRUGS TO
STATE KEY LABORATORY FOR CHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR ENGINEERING OF MEDICINAL RESOURCES.
The exploration of metals in biology and medicine is a fast-growing research
area. Over the past decades, metallodrug shave attracted enormous attentions due to the
important role of platinum-based drugs in cancer chemotherapy treatment. Many metal complexes
with anticancer activities have also been developed in this process comprised platinum complexes
with non-classical mechanisms, non-platinum complexes with different mechanisms et al.
Metal-based chemoimmunotherapy has recently gained extensive attention for its ability to
activate tumor-specific immunity beyond direct cytotoxicity, which comprise altered visibility
and susceptibility of cancer cells toward innate and adaptive immunity, as well as direct
impacts on immune cell populations and the tumor microenvironment. This workshop aims to share
some insightful views and ideas in further development of metal-based anticancer drugs.
